This message speaks of the importance of self-connection when you feel overwhelmed by anxious thoughts, worries, and fears.
Card 1: The volcano. Anxiety really does feel like an eruption of chaos within ourself. Our mind and nervous system is fired and wired and we can feel out of control. This card is to remind you to that you are the mountain, strong and stable despite the inner turmoil, and it is important to allow your anxiety to flow- holding it in will only cause more harm long term.
Card 2: The Records. We can often feel disconnected and as if we are being swept away and losing control when anxiety hits. This card is to remember the Earth beneath your feet, that you are safe, in this very moment and to ground your mind by focusing on your body. to find an anchor of safety - a pillar of stability, by deepening your breath, holding an object or feeling a wall (or tree) behind your back.
Card 3: The entrance stone. This card is showing me that you are the key, that your heart is the doorway for finding inner peace. Anxiety is formed through thoughts and past pain, that speak to you through worry and nervous system protection. It is also showing me with the boxed cave above her head that you are not your thoughts and new thoughts and beliefs can be re-written over time if you choose to take the path and step forward towards healing. It is also showing me that anxiety can keep you feeling trapped and this is your message that you can step yourself free.
Card 4: Lay it on the Altar. To move through healing anxiety is to soften when you want to harden and close yourself off. It is a place of learning self-love, holding your anxiety as a part of you that is calling you to hold it, soothe it and nurture it without judgement and defensiveness, but with compassion, forgiveness and patience, This card is to face your anxiety not with anger or fear but with an open heart, to find that part of you that is scared for it is through love you can heal.
