I originally got this deck to help me with a writing project to spark my creativity and as soon as I got her I knew not only did I need her personally but how incredibly important she can be in the moments of our life where we’re struggling in the darkness and in the emptiness, feeling alone, hurt, struggling to find a light.

She is the light, she has the energy of holding the candle of hope while still honouring the pain and the days of darkness but she holds them with the energy of comfort, of nurturing. One of the cards is rosemary bread and I could instantly smell it. I felt it’s warmth and comfort and love. I felt safe and nourished and this was even before I properly connected to the deck.

As you know, I connect to my decks. I spend time mostly a few days to really embody the imagery, the symbolism and the energy of the deck. I read the guidebook to offer me a deeper connection to the cards and yet I got so much connection literally within the first 10 minutes of her coming through my door.

She is the bright star that you can look up to when you feel all is lost or you need a spark of hope and I said in my introduction to Oracle audios that sometimes you will receive a deck and you instantly become best friends and she’s definitely gonna be my best friend through the days where I need to find some light and inner hope.

So Imbolc is the space between winter and spring where winter is slowly ending and you know spring is on the way lighter and warmer days new beginnings are just around the corner.

With all decks, it is a good idea to find your favourite card and least favourite to begin to connect to the deck and also maybe find some self-healing also. Which cards are your favourite and least favourite- explore/write why they are? And what messages they are offering you.

Deck Message:

This message is about learning the flows of life, the flows of your emotions, and honouring them with Grace and compassion. In the days where you feel too much, in the days of grey skies and silence. Allow them to all flow, don’t suppress your feelings, dont hold onto the past, moving on doesn’t mean you forget, it means you find inner peace. Honouring the light and dark, protecting your peace, finding balance and safety in the unknown. I love the snowdrops in the card ,symoblising hope and new beginnings and new life. The red candles to me symbolise your spark of life and passion being reignited. The stone circle around her offers boundaries and protection as well as feeling grounded in the moments of doubt, fears and sorrow. The whole energy of the card to me feels she is sitting with the overwhelm, the heavy emotions, the endings and the emptiness and she knows she has the strength to let them flow through her without being consumed by them, for they will pass.

Do you have this deck? What energy does she offer you?
