There is no denying how popular oracle cards have become in recent years, in a world that disconnects us from ourselves, we seek to find the answers in many different ways.

Let me start by saying, while many use oracle cards to read peoples energies, the energies of the "collective", offer future guidance and answers to our problems and channel spirit guides- my work doesn't do any of that. I don't work with spreads, I don't ask the cards questions and I don't seek answers. I use oracle cards as a mirror, a writing prompt, The messages that I write come from within me, from what I have personally learnt and experienced in life and the images of the cards and how they make me feel and symbolism of the cards. So if you are wanting to read cards from a psychic place, or a place to connect to your guides and to read cards for other people, I'm afraid you won't find that here.

My work in teaching oracle cards are for the woman on her self-discovery journey, her healing and growth, where she's tired of finding answers outside of herself and is ready to go within, to explore and to be open to learn about life and about herself. Where the cards become a doorway of self-connection, reflection and taking inspired action. Through the cards she is able to come home to her soul, to remember all the answers are already within her, she just needed the cards to show her and remind her of her power. Where reading the cards comes from listening, feeling and seeing rather than channelling external guides, because saying "my guides told me/guided me" is giving your power away, I'm not saying we don't have guides, they can support us but ultimately they can't tell you what to do.

I use oracle cards as a form of looking at the cards artwork, the feelings, the memories, the story that the cards artwork portrays, I take the symbolism and the colours of the cards, along with the words and I piece them all together to write a message from what I see. I hear all the time from women that "they're not psychic to read oracle cards" and my work is to tell you, you don't have to be. Reading cards can be as simple as say what you see on the card.

When people tell me oracle cards are new age and evil, I simply say, it depends on the person reading them, their intention and if they are channelling entities or not. The easiest way I can describe the way I work and read oracle cards are, imagine an art gallery. Where you are going around from one picture to another, you stop and look at the painting, you take in the scene, maybe the expressions on any faces, or how calm or stormy the waves are. A woman looking sad makes you feel sad, maybe you can relate to her sadness, maybe the calm waves make you wish that you were on a calm beach to release the stress you feel right now, maybe the stormy waves are a mirror reflecting the angry emotions you feel after an argument with a loved one. In all these cases you are "reading" the artwork, you are forming a story, a message, a feeling and a connection to it, you aren't channelling any guides, you aren't getting the message from a higher power, it is all coming from within you. From what you see and how you feel. Reading oracle cards is the exact same process, they bring something from deep within your subconscious to your conscious awareness to sit and explore for clarity, healing and growth.

Oracle cards don't give you answers, they don't tell you what to do, or what will happen. We want them to simply because we don't trust our own knowing, we need proof and reassurance when life gets uncertain and wen we are faced with the unknown or choices that we are scared to make in case we choose wrong. Oracle cards help you trust yourself, they offer words so that you can find courage, they offer you the questions rather than the answers to find your own truth within you. We deeply know what we need to do and the answers, the issue is that we need confirmation from an external source to prove to ourselves we are right, we lost our own intuition to help us navigate our own life. Oracle cards offer that doorway back to listening. trusting and following your own heart again throughout life.

Oracle cards are a great tool for self-connection, a great tool for writing, learning and exploring both your inner and outer world with an open heart and mind.

I have always been inspired by oracle cards, how their images and words can unlock something within us. Sometimes its a joy and other times its a trigger, but both are equal for self-discovery. I love how one card can mean many different things to different people, and how that one card can also offer different messages each time we pull it, depending on where we are in life, what we are feeling and what we are needing. I love how each deck holds a theme, from emotional healing, to self-love, to inner child healing, to rising from the ashes, there is a deck for every part of your journey. I love how symbolism shows up, showing us the different perspectives of life, where animals can help you remember your strength, or your wisdom, where the sea can show you your emotional state and where the sky can show you your thoughts and your intuition.

The stories are endless what you can uncover, discover and find on oracle cards, you don't always have to find guidance, you can find a journal prompt from a card, or a quote, maybe you are inspired to write a poem or a creative story, maybe you write a reflective piece of writing, maybe you connect to a symbol to learn and explore why you are drawn to that right now in your life.

That is why I created

for women wishing to explore and learn oracle cards for their own journey, to find confidence in reading cards for themselves. To help them stop and listen to their own inner wisdom and to remember their power, to find the courage to take inspired action.

Be sure to discover them and also my oracle reflections to inspire you through life.
