A Moment of Mindfulness

As women we don't stop, always something to do, somewhere to be and we feel we have to push ourselves and do it all in record speed, This is your moment to stop and drop- you need a break and the world can wait for 20 minutes.


This is your invitation to ground yourself, to breathe, to sit down, to soften. to just BE.


We tell ourselves we can't sit and rest until all the chores and the to-do list is done, but have you noticed how the list never ends?? Always something new gets added.

We then find ourselves rushing around, we make coffees that go cold and we eat on the run because we feel we don't have the time to sit for a calm lunchbreak.


So today, I invite you when you are in the midst of housework, cleaning, working without breaks, shopping to stop and drop for just 20 minutes, no scrolling the phone, just sit and allow your body and mind to breathe.


You may like to open your mind and heart and journal in this space asking yourself:

  • How am I truly feeling right now in this moment?

  • What can I do to honour these feelings today ?


By stopping, stepping back and taking short breaks can help your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
