Bring joy back into your life.

Updated: 2 days ago

This is a message about coming back to the joy that is found within your heart.
Sovereignty: Life often knocks the light of joy out of us. Painful experiences, negative words and exhaustion can keep us feeling in the depths of our shadows and darkness. We lose our spark, our joy and our light. This card is your invitation to begin to take the steps to find your inner joy once again.
Life will always be life, pain and joy, light and dark, good times and bad times, and while you have to honour them all, don’t let the darkness of the world, of others and even your own shadows stop you from being happy, from embodying joy into your daily life.
Joy: We often hear of the word glimmers, this card is offering you that, even in the midst of feeling exhausted, sad or alone, It is important to remember your joy. For joy is a frequency of healing.
Do not feel guilty for embracing little pockets of joy into your life. A lot of people like to stay in the shadows of despair, unhappy in their own life, their own being and like to try to keep others in the darkness with them, to make them feel better, they can’t stand to see others smile, be happy or successful so they try to make you feel guilty for being happy, for laughing and dancing. These cards are reminding you to stand in your sovereignty of joy.
To be the light, that knows joy can lead people out of the dark cave and find the light of happiness once again.
To find joy after pain, takes small steps, but laughter with a friend, a comedy, picking up the art brush, a walk in the sun, a hug with a pet, listening to your favourite songs, wearing your favourite colour, whatever small glimmers of joy that brings you happiness, this is your reminder to do more of it, and slowly in time your light and joy will come back.
Journal Reflections:
Where can I bring more joy into my life?
What do i like to do that brings me joy?
Who/what has a draining effect on my light and joy and how can I learn to stand in my sovereignty of joy?
