Is it Time to Listen & Follow the Whispers of Your Soul?

This message is all about connecting to, trusting and following your intuition in life.
Free your mind: this card offers two symbolic messages one is to stop over-thinking and living your life from only your logical, thinking mind. Where you can often feel stuck, exhausted and block divine solutions coming through to you. It also symbolises third eye opening, this doesn’t mean your gifts to see ghosts! But rather “seeing” your inner power and own wisdom within your soul rather than just your thoughts in your head.
Reclaim your power: When you begin to listen to the answers from within, to the whispers of your soul, you reclaim your power from outside external sources. Social media, professionals, friends and family and even your own fears and limiting beliefs can often hold you back, tell you their own fears and projections wrapped up as advice. A good example of this was today, I was doing something online which was causing some issues and a family member just said “I would give up if I was you”. The old me would have believed her that I was not going to do it and it was hopeless and I would have given up, but I saw it for what it was, that she would have given up from her own issues, so I simply kept doing what I was doing and simply said “ But I’m not you, I am not giving up”. And this card with the peach smoke which shows self-compassion and gentle loving boundaries are sometimes needed, you have to cut out or not listen to the voices outside of you, only the voice of your soul.
Trust Yourself: It takes time and practice to drop from your over active mind, worries and thinking, to connect, listen, trust and then follow your inner guidance. The jar to me symbolises your soul, leading you the way, calling you to trust it and follow it. That you don’t need to know the final destination, just the journey of the now. To keep listening and taking inspired action. That your power lies within your hands.
The question you will be asking yourself is how can I hear the voice of my soul? And the answer is simple. Switch off and tune into stillness. Constant phone scrolling, tv watching, talking to many people, listening to 101 podcasts, are all noise and other peoples perspectives, experiences, thoughts and even their own fears and beliefs if you listen closely.
To hear your own soul, you need to learn to embrace silence, solitude and stillness. It is there when your body and mind are quiet that your soul can be heard. Any activity that allows you to be focused on the present moment, walking, journaling, yoga and breath work, meditation, creating art, even in the bath can offer moments where your mind and thoughts can quieten down enough, and it is those spaces you can hear your soul. it’s the whisper of inner knowing, inner peace and inner joy.
It’s soft, a murmur, a hum. She’s not loud, and you know your truth if you offer a space to quieten down your fears, so your soul can speak.
